My Favorite Oracle and Tarot Decks

I started learning tarot over 30 years ago, and since then, I have loved collecting various tarot and oracle decks. I have almost 100! I love the art and having different images and energies of different decks to work with.

I started including Pick-A-Card readings a couple of times per month on my YouTube channel (you can see the playlist here) because it's such a part of who I am. I sometimes use cards to help bring clarity to my coaching sessions, and it's always so helpful.

We are so much more grounded, powerful, and in alignment when we have clear access to our intuition. There are many ways to access that part of yourself, and I will be sharing some content about that in the future, but for now, I hope sharing some of my favorite tools encourages you to start tapping into your own guidance!

Tarot Decks

Golden Art Nouveau - This is one I reach for a lot because, let's face it, it's shiny. The gold is beautiful and makes this one of my favorites that uses the more traditional images. The Nouveau style is so pretty. The card stock is nice and I haven't noticed any wear even though this one gets a lot of use. I like this one so much I ordered the mini size for my purse.

Tarot of Mystical Moments - This is my favorite deck with non-traditional artwork. It's unique, lovely, and a joy to read with. Great card stock. It includes female versions of all of the masculine cards, which I think is interesting, although I don't typically use the extra cards in readings. This is one I bought specifically because I love the art and I ended up really connecting with it.

Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot - If you are a beginner and just learning tarot, this is a great beginner deck. It has the iconic imagery, but the colors are much more vibrant. It's a great way to learn the symbolism of each card while still enjoying rich and beautiful colors. I strongly prefer this to the original coloring. It gives the deck a more pleasant energy. I also prefer the updated card backs.

Shadowscapes Tarot - This was my favorite deck for years and years. I have worn out this deck twice and have bought it multiple times. It's not because the card stock is bad; I just used it that much. This was another one I purchased because I connected so much with the art. It's a blend of Celtic, fantasy, and Asian influences and just gorgeous.

The Pacific Northwest Tarot - This beauty by Brendan Marnell is one of my favorite independently produced decks. He did all of the artwork and lettering by hand. This was a labor of love you can feel, and supporting independent artists is so important. If you love animals and the magical, chill PNW vibe, this deck is for you. 10% of his proceeds go to non-profit conservation efforts. This is not an affiliate link.

Oracle Decks

The Divine Feminine Oracle - I have now bought this deck twice because I wanted to make sure I have an extra copy if it goes out of print. This oracle deck is one of my favorites. On my healing journey, this deck has helped me to heal my wounded feminine and is always a supportive energy when I need guidance. It's beautiful visually, great card stock, and learning the stories of so many powerful women throughout both history and myth is inspiring. It includes representation from multiple cultures, which is essential to me. Get your copy here: https://amzn.to/4ik2N2E

Sacred Rebels Oracle - Another gorgeous deck. The artwork is detailed and magical, and the colors are so rich. The book that comes with this deck is top-notch with beautiful, empowering messages to lift you up and into alignment. Many descriptions include a meditation/prayer to say at the end. It's just so incredibly supportive and well done. If I could only use one oracle deck in my own healing work and with my clients it would be this one.

Herbal Astrology Oracle - This deck has so much to offer. If you haven't figured it out yet, I will buy a deck simply because I love the art, and this one does not disappoint. It's detailed, includes astrological references for each plant, and truly evokes the spirit of nature. Where this deck really shines, though, is in the information in the booklet. It provides such wonderful details about traditional uses and respects indigenous wisdom. Plants have been used for healing and divination for centuries. This deck reconnects you to that wise tradition and to the spirit of the Earth.

***Please note - the artist is no longer selling the full-size edition on Amazon. There is a dupe, though, and it's garbage. However, there is a pocket edition available that is the real deal.**
